Are you ready for Europe’s new approach to financial crime supervision?
For years, AML supervision in Europe has been shaped by national interpretations, different expectations and fragmented approaches.
But with the EU’s new AML framework and the creation of AMLA, financial institutions are moving towards a more unified, data-driven supervisory model.
But there's an aspect many organisations underestimate.
The biggest change is what the regulation forces organisations to rethink.
AMLA will impact:
→ How institutions assess and measure risk
→ How customer due diligence is performed across markets
→ How AML data is governed and reported
→ How boards and senior leadership are involved in financial crime oversight
The institutions in the strongest position by July 2027 will be those addressing the gaps they can already identify now.
