But the energy vibe inside is crazy
Enter WAT (beta). 🚀
They are building a massive 10,000 square meter tech hub in Brussels and while the heavy construction is underway, something incredible is already happening. They did not wait for the paint to dry to start creating value for the Belgian ecosystem.
Instead of leaving the space empty during renovations, they launched a full-scale MVP. Connecting talent, founders and stakeholders from day one.
Here is what the WAT.BXL (beta) looks like today:
🏢 Active Hub: Already home to 120 ambitious entrepreneurs and tech startups building European strategic innovation.
đź‘Ą Thriving Community: A core group of 200+ ecosystem players collaborating daily.
🍻 Weekly Rituals: Every Thursday at 6:30 PM, the community gathers for tech talks, insightful conferences, and networking drinks.
This is how we scale the Belgian startup scene, by being action-oriented, inclusive and collaborative. That's our mantra at Belgium Startup Ecosystem as well. The heavy lifting is happening on-site, but the community engine is already running full speed.
