AI agents dominated the conversation at our summer Energy Edge event. More than 20 companies joined us, including leaders from Centrica, EDF and E.On, and one of the themes that emerged was what it will take to move from AI experimentation to trusted commercial application.
That's the question we're taking forward in November.
The Energy Edge returns to London on 17 November, bringing energy retail leaders together to work through the path to agentic AI and the foundations it depends on. Models can't compensate for fragmented data or tangled pricing rules. So we'll spend the morning on what needs to be in place before agents can act with confidence, and what becomes possible once it is.
