Polysense Expands Industrial Sensing Portfolio:
Native 0–100mV & 0–100V Inputs on Industrial Mainboard, Plus New Standalone Sensor PSS-353521
Polysense today announces a dual expansion of its industrial IoT sensing lineup, designed to give systems integrators and engineering firms greater flexibility in DC power monitoring and cathodic protection deployments.
🔹 Capability 1 — Industrial Mainboard: Native 0–100mV & 0–100V DC Inputs
Our industrial-grade mainboard now features two new native analog channels:
- 0–100mV Differential Input — direct shunt resistor current sensing without external conditioners
- 0–100V DC Isolated Input — full-range DC bus and rectifier voltage monitoring, exceeding the common 70V industry ceiling
Both channels come standard with 2500V galvanic isolation, IEC 61000-4-5 surge protection, and ±8kV ESD shielding — purpose-built for harsh field environments.
🔹 Capability 2 — Standalone Sensor PSS-353521
For applications requiring a compact, dedicated monitoring node, we introduce the PSS-353521 — a flexible standalone sensor supporting the same 0–100mV & 0–100V dual-range acquisition in a field-deployable form factor. Ideal for retrofitting existing rectifiers and battery banks without replacing host equipment.
🎯 Key Features Across Both Platforms
Dual-range acquisition: current (via shunt) + voltage in one device
2500V electrical isolation for operator safety and equipment protection
LoRaWAN connectivity (US915 / EU868 / CN470 / AS923) for long-range, low-power telemetry
Wide -40°C to +70°C industrial operating range with conformal coating
Modular design: pluggable communication subboards for LoRa / NB-IoT / LTE Cat.1
🏗️ Target Applications
- Cathodic protection rectifier monitoring (oil & gas pipelines, water tanks, marine structures)
- Battery energy storage systems (BESS) and DC power cabinets
- Solar PV string and charge controller monitoring
- Industrial plating & electrolysis power supply oversight
- Remote telecom DC plant monitoring
One platform strategy, two deployment paths — integrate the interface into your own system, or deploy PSS-353521 as a ready-to-use sensor node.
