Continuing our H1 2026 Idyllaโข Publication Highlights series, we take a closer look at a study by Gilson et al. (2026)** that evaluates the performance of the Idyllaโข IDH1-2 Mutation Assay Kit across a range of IDH-driven tumor types (including glioma, cholangiocarcinoma, chondrosarcoma, breast cancer and AML).
๐ก๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ ๐ต๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐:
- 106 samples evaluated across diverse IDH-mutated tumor types
- 97.1% OPA, 98.0% PPV and 96.2% NPV vs. NGS
- Detection limits down to 1.6% for IDH1 R132H and 0.5% for IDH2 R172K
- IDH results in only 95 minutes
