As part of our H1 2026 Publication Highlight series, we take a closer look at a study by Sura et al. (2026)** that evaluates the Idyllaโข GeneFusion Assay for NTRK1/2/3 detection in a pan-cancer, fusion-enriched cohort from two US academic centers.
๐ก๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ ๐ต๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐๐:
- 193 samples evaluated across thyroid cancer, NSCLC, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, and other tumor types
- 95.7% PPA and 100% NPA for unequivocal calls vs. NGS
- NTRK results in only 3 hours with < 3 minutes hands-on time
