I spent 10 hours with AI writing a 200 page book. Anyone can do this & avoid AI slop:
1. I write the outline myself. I don't let AI handle this bit. I know broadly what I'm trying to communicate and what message I want to convey.
2. I write section by section. I again write a micro outline per structure, and ask AI to validate every hunch with research. I run several deep research passes in parallel in Claude. It browses the web to find primary sources and backs every figure with a citation.
3. I set the tone before drafting a word. I built a skill in Claude that holds my voice, so Opus 5 writes in my register instead of generic AI prose.
4. I review section by section. I push back on each draft, and new insight and work the section until I'm happy. I'm essentially an editor who's co-writing.
It's everything we've learned across every enterprise implementation
So does this count as me writing it?
P.S. Happy to share the book, drop me a DM.
