So, what's the biggest risk of the citizen agent revolution?
It's not that the tools won't work. It's that they'll work too well, without any structure. When you give everyone the power to build, you risk returning to the age of shadow IT. You get a flood of new tools, but no control over your data. No clear overview of what's being used. It's a massive risk for governance, compliance, and security.
Does that mean we should lock everything down?
Absolutely not. The answer is a solid framework. A structured approach that gives people the freedom to experiment, but within safe and clear boundaries. It's about finding the balance between central control and individual innovation.
In our full video, Ruben Vermaercke and Max Dugardyn discuss what that framework actually looks like.
