A recent TNO report ("Towards Battery Recycling in the Netherlands", July 2026) highlights critical bottlenecks in battery recycling that directly mirror our work at CLOSER in microelectronics: Without reliable local feedstock and streamlined processes, circular processing canโt scale.

ยท ย ย ย ย ๐ The Scale Gap: Industrial refineries need ~10,000 tonnes/year of feedstock to run economically, but Dutch collection yields only ~800 tonnes/year.
