RAIT88 has completed the pre-processing phase of ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ข๐ ๐ฃ๐๐๐ (Printed Circuit Boards), which are used as donor boards for component recovery, enabling the extraction, characterization, and reuse of valuable semiconductor devices within the CLOSER project. Following a detailed analysis of component datasheets, the team is now finalizing and validating the desoldering parameters to ensure that components can be safely removed without damage. This marks an important step toward maximizing component recovery and reuse, helping to reduce waste and strengthen the circular electronics value chain.
