The Summer of 2018 took us along the wild edge of Canada's west coast. Before that, business had introduced me to its great cities, but somewhere between the beautiful mountains and the endless ocean, I discovered the real soul of the country. I fell for the quiet strength of a nation that never needed the loudest voice in the room to leave a lasting impression. But that's not today's thougth. Ten years from now, Canada may well be the Harvard Business Review case study (pun intended) on how a nation remained steady, open, and prosperous while the geo-economic and geopolitical order around it was being rewritten. While others were creating the storm, Canada chose to become the lighthouse. And history tends to remember the lights long after the storms have passed. #Canada #Trade #Negotiations #Leadership #Fingerprints
