I rebuilt my entire website with Claude in just 3 hours 🚀 And there were at least 10 moments where I thought: 'okay, this is getting pretty insane' 1. ⚡ It almost one-shotted the website in 10 minutes. I gave Claude my existing website, my branding, and a few sites I liked as references. The first version was already remarkably close to what I wanted. 2. 💬 Iterating felt more like giving feedback to a colleague than building a website. “Make this section smaller”, “Move this up”, “Make this feel more premium”, “Use more of my purple” And it just kept adapting on the fly. 3. 📱 It was fully responsive from the start. Desktop, tablet, mobile. The layouts, navigation and content were automatically adapted for different screen sizes. 4. 📸 It pulled the right pictures from my photo folders. Claude went through the available images, selected the ones it thought worked best for the website and pulled them into the right carousels and sections itself. 5. 📦 It handled the entire deployment. It packaged all the necessary website files and prepared everything needed to get the site online. 6. 💸 It even challenged my hosting choice. I asked whether I should host the website with my domain provider. Claude basically said: you could… but why pay for that? It recommended Netlify, brought me to the right place to create the account and helped me get the site hosted for free. 7. 🔧 It configured the domain. A records. CNAME records. TXT records. DNS configuration. Stuff that normally involves opening 12 browser tabs and wondering whether you are about to break the internet. 😅 8. 🤖 It thought about AI discoverability too. Not just classic SEO, but GEO: Generative Engine Optimization. It added things like robots.txt, llms.txt, metadata and other signals to make the website easier for both search engines and AI crawlers to understand. 9. 🧠 It suggested changing the architecture for AI. Instead of putting all my keynotes on one page, Claude recommended creating individual pages for each keynote so search engines and AI agents can crawl, understand and reference them more easily. 10. 🛠️ It could actually operate all parts of the stack. Through its connection with Netlify, Claude could configure and publish things like the forms on my website. And once everything was set up, it created a scheduled task to check when the DNS changes had been executed and tell me when the new website was actually live ✅ 🤯 Pretty insane where we are less than 4 years after the ChatGPT moment. This is not just coding; it is designing, selecting assets, advising, configuring infrastructure, deploying, testing and monitoring. 🚀 AI isn't just a copilot, it's becoming the person sitting next to you who can actually do the work.
