During our recent time in Luanda, we had the pleasure of meeting with Juranda Bernardo Ikeobi, Director of Stone Rouge, iTraceiT’s trusted local partner in Angola for several years. Our partnership with Stone Rouge reflects our belief that good work in new markets depends on a combination of international experience and strong local knowledge, relationships, and an understanding of how businesses operate in practice. For us, having a trusted local partner is about much more than representation. It means having people on the ground who understand the local business environment, know the key stakeholders, and can support organisations looking to work with iTraceiT in Angola. Stone Rouge brings experience in ESG, compliance, corporate responsibility, governance, and environmental and social matters, with a particular focus on the mining and extractive sectors in Angola. This local experience helps connect international standards and requirements with the realities of operating in the Angolan market. This complements iTraceiT’s work in traceability, transparency and responsible sourcing. Together, we can provide organisations with a more practical and locally informed approach to improving ESG practices, managing risks, strengthening supply-chain transparency and meeting international requirements.
