Looking at it, I keep thinking about how much of the Universe begins in randomness.
Noise, probability, collisions, small variations. Things that seem chaotic at first, but over time produce form, repetition and structure. Fractals are everywhere in nature. Poisson processes describe events that appear independently. Randomness itself can generate patterns.
Maybe art does something similar.
A gesture, a material, an accident, a decision. Somehow a structure appears that was never completely planned. The square root feels like a metaphor for this. Going beneath what we see, looking for the simpler "Real" rule hidden inside complexity.
Perhaps chaos and order are not opposites at all. They are different moments of the same process snd maybe that is what both art and mathematics are trying to understand about the Universe.
