Citing Ravical research, accounting and tax professionals training provider Mercia Group published an article on client relationships yesterday, bringing up a commonly missed warning signal for firms.
Your client retention rate may look strong and sit right on the 90% to 96% benchmark. What's harder to see, is how underserved these loyal clients might be.
Mercia shares that more than 1/3 of clients buying advisory services, tax strategy among them, are buying services from another provider. Even when their main accounting firm has the service on offer.
