A parklet is a pretty good place to ask people what they think about… a parklet.
Landeshauptstadt München is using Citizen Dialog Kit to evaluate different interventions within the ASCEND Project in Harthof.
The first stop already collected 105 responses. Residents were broadly positive, but the survey also revealed how they use the parklet, what they value and what could make it better. Suggestions with a lot of appeal included things such as improved protection from sun and rain.
That is clearly why this approach fits these kinds of neighbourhood experiments so well: feedback is collected from people while they are actually encountering and using the intervention.
The CDK Dialog Box is now moving on to evaluate other ASCEND measures across Harthof.
