Overview

Flanders is one of Belgium's three official regions, covering the northern part of the country. It is bordered by the Netherlands to the north, the Brussels Capital Region and Wallonia to the south, France to the southwest, and the North Sea to the west. The region contains five provinces: Antwerp, East Flanders, West Flanders, Flemish Brabant, and Limburg. Flanders has the highest concentration of technology companies in Belgium, with major clusters in Ghent, Antwerp, Leuven, and the greater Brussels periphery.
