TLDR

GeoDynamics is a Kortrijk-based SaaS & Enterprise Software Company Building location-based software for mobile workforce, fleet tracking and time registration, acquired by Dutch group Blinqx from Ik Partners in early 2025.

Overview

Founded in 2004 by Peter Vermeersch and Stijn Stragier, GeoDynamics develops a SaaS platform for mobile workforce management combining Track & Trace, time registration, material management and access control. The product targets sectors with field operations including construction, service and installation, distribution, cleaning and public services, where employers need to log working hours, vehicle movements and tool usage for payroll and compliance purposes.

The company reports around 33 employees serving more than 3,000 business customers from its Kortrijk headquarters, with IK Partners citing over 3,500 customers at the time of the 2025 exit. According to the company, more than 32,000 vehicles run on its tracking platform and the salaries of over 100,000 employees are calculated from data collected through its applications, including its Check-In-At-Work module aligned with Belgian site-registration regulations. Internet of Things integrations extend the platform to monitoring tools and machines on site.

GeoDynamics was originally backed by Belgian private equity firm Sofindev, which sold its stake to Ik Partners in December 2020. Four years later, on 7 January 2025, IK Partners announced the sale of GeoDynamics to Blinqx, a Dutch software group, with the stated intent of accelerating international expansion of the combined business. Founders Peter Vermeersch and Stijn Stragier continue as managing directors and become co-shareholders in Blinqx.
