TLDR

Match Group Belgium is the Ghent office of Match Group (NASDAQ: MTCH), operating Twoo.com and Ablo.live, successor to Massive Media, the Ghent startup behind Netlog and Twoo.

Overview

Match Group Belgium traces its roots to Massive Media, a Ghent-based startup founded by Lorenz Bogaert and Toon Coppens. Massive Media originally built Netlog, one of the early European social networks. In 2011, Massive Media launched Twoo, a social discovery and dating platform.

In December 2012, Massive Media was acquired by the Meetic Group, a French online dating company. In 2013, Meetic was in turn part of InterActiveCorp (IAC), parent company of Match Group. The Ghent team became the Belgian arm of the Match Group empire.

The Ghent office is currently known as Match Group Belgium (also operating under the Massive Media brand) and runs Twoo.com and Ablo.live. The office is located at Emile Braunplein 18, Ghent.
