TLDR

Quickbase is a Boston-headquartered AI operations platform owned by Vista Equity Partners that acquired Solvice in April 2026 to extend its resource management capabilities.

Overview

Founded in 1999, Quickbase provides low-code and no-code application development for enterprise customers and reported over USD 200M in revenue in 2023. Vista Equity Partners took a majority stake in Quickbase in January 2019 for a reported USD 1B. Ed Jennings joined as CEO in May 2020.

On 2 April 2026 Quickbase acquired Solvice NV, the Ghent-based optimization API company founded by Christophe Van Huele and Kenny Helsens and led by CEO Bert Van Wassenhove. The integration roadmap embeds Solvice's OnRoute API into FastField Pro and OnShift into Quickbase Business and Enterprise during the second half of 2026, while Solvice's standalone APIs remain available to existing customers.
