Al Tadros
Al Tadros is Chief Technology Officer at Redwire Space, a role he has held since May 2022. He is based in Los Altos. He joined Redwire Space in August 2020 as Chief Growth Officer and EVP Space Infrastructure.
Before that he spent more than three years at Maxar Technologies as VP, Space Infrastructure and Civil Space, from January 2017 to August 2020. He worked at Space Systems/Loral from 1991 to January 2017, first as a Dynamics and Controls Engineer, then from 1999 as a Satellite Systems Engineer and Payload Manager, and from 2007 as Vice President, Civil and DoD Business. He began his career at Ford Aerospace / Space Systems Division, where he was a Robotics Dynamics and Controls Engineer from 1990 to 1991.
Tadros studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, taking a BS in AeroAstro between 1984 and 1988 and an MS in Mechanical Engineering between 1988 and 1990. In 1987 he attended the inaugural year of the International Space University, studying space systems.
