TLDR

Benjamin de Broqueville is co-founder and chairman of Sourse, a Namur-based aerial earth observation company, and CEO of Stemme, the German motorglider and drone manufacturer.

Background

Benjamin co-founded Stratos Solution in 2016, originally focused on a stratospheric aircraft project for earth observation. He pivoted the company toward exploitation of aerial data, which led to the rebrand as Sourse. In 2017, together with Olivier de Spoelberch, he acquired the Namur aerodrome at Temploux, which they continue to operate jointly with Vanina Ickx.

Since 2021, Benjamin has been co-CEO of Stemme, a German manufacturer of light aircraft and motorgliders majority-owned by Olivier de Spoelberch. He stepped down from the CEO role at Sourse in summer 2022 to focus on Stemme, handing over to Julien Losseau while remaining chairman of the Sourse board.
