Benoit Schryver

Benoit Schryver is Chief Technology Officer at Melimpus, a role he took up in November 2024. He is based in Belgium and states expertise in electronics, IT development, virtual reality, project management and operational excellence.

Since October 2022 he has also been Project Manager and Operational Excellence Officer at Zetes, where he had previously worked as Technical Manager from 2018 to 2022 and as process and project engineer from 2014 to 2018. He founded Lobster Creation in 2010 and VirtualWalk in 2016, and both remain current. Between January 2024 and April 2025 he was an event consultant at Domaine W.

Earlier, Schryver was an electronics consultant at ALTEN BELGIUM and an ERTMS trainborne validation engineer at Alstom Transport, both from 2012 to 2014, and a software test engineer at EVS Broadcast Equipment from 2010 to 2012. He worked as a production test engineer at AW Europe, as an RF validation engineer at STMicroelectronics, as an electronics consultant at Altran from 2007 to 2012, as a regulatory and certification engineer at Thomson Telecom, and as an electronic engineer at Toyota Motor Europe from 2005 to 2007.

He studied electrical engineering at Oklahoma State University in 2003 and 2004 and completed a master's degree in electronic engineering at the Université catholique de Louvain in 2005.
