Bjorn Robbens

Bjorn Robbens is co-founder and chief executive of C-battery, which he started in January 2021, and is based in Gent. He has owned Sarolea Motorcycles since January 2015, and in April 2025 became an investor in Peliqan. He states expertise in circular economy, sustainability, entrepreneurship and investing.

Earlier, he worked as an account manager at Carfac in 2020 and held an AI growth role at In The Pocket from September 2019 to May 2020. He owned BENTONAPPS from August 2014 to January 2018 and was business development and delivery manager at Business & Decision Group between 2016 and 2017. He co-founded BELGUSA Gaming Guides in May 2014. From September 2004 to December 2013 he was founder and chief executive of BRO-Consulting, and during part of that period, from 2009 to 2011, he was freelance IT manager at Meyvaert Glass Engineering. He began his career as a field support engineer at Seco-M and then Schaubroeck NV, before consulting roles at Orbid IT Services and OASIS Consultants.

He studied informatics at HOGENT and information technology at Ghent University.
