
Davy Waele
Davy Waele is Chief Technology Officer at Ixor, a role he has held since January 2024. He is based in Gent.
He joined Ixor in February 2014 as IoT Architect, a position he held until December 2019, and was software architect there from January 2020 to January 2024. Between July 2013 and July 2018 he was co-founder and CEO of FleetProbe.
Waele worked at Telenet group across a number of periods between January 2007 and October 2014, as architect and developer, enterprise architect, enterprise application architect, in technical release management and continuous improvements, as mobile developer and architect, and as infrastructure architect. He was integration architect at EDF Luminus from September 2014 to January 2016, and developer and architect at Belfius from July 2012 to July 2013.
From February 2005 to July 2012 he was a solution engineer at ACA IT-Solutions, during which time he also held architect roles at Fedict, RSVZ - INASTI, The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and Euroclear. He began his career in IT at ING Belgium from October 2001 to January 2005.
He studied MCT at HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen from 1997 to 2001.
