
Dirk Loeckx
Dirk Loeckx co-founded icometrix in 2011 alongside Wim Van Hecke as a spin-off from KU Leuven and imec. The company built AI software that automatically quantifies brain structures from MRI scans, supporting radiologists and neurologists treating conditions including multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and stroke. icometrix was acquired by GE HealthCare in September 2025.
