
Wim Van Hecke
Wim Van Hecke co-founded icometrix in 2011 alongside Dirk Loeckx as a spin-off from KU Leuven and imec. The company developed AI software for automated analysis of brain MRI scans, targeting neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and stroke. icometrix was acquired by GE HealthCare in September 2025.
