Frederic Dru
Frederic Dru is the CEO of AVIOBOOK, based in Hasselt. He joined the company as COO in March 2017 and took up the chief executive role in January 2020.
Before that he spent more than a decade at Thales Avionics, where he led the IFE engineering European office from January 2006, headed field support engineering for Europe, the Middle East and Africa from January 2008, managed the civil helicopters in-service programme from September 2009, served as director of project management from October 2013 and headed customer digital services from April 2015 until March 2017. He began his career at Thomson Marconi Sonars, working as a sonar system engineer from 2001 to 2006.
He studied engineering at CentraleSupélec from 1997 to 2000 and completed an M. Sc. in electrical engineering at Polytechnique Montréal in 2001.
