Heleen Willemsen

Heleen Willemsen is the co-founder and COO of airflora, a company she co-founded in September 2023. She is based in Brussels.

Before airflora, she worked at Noldev from September 2022 to September 2023, first as a business development representative and content manager and then in business development and marketing. From August 2021 to July 2022 she was a customer success manager and SaaS copywriter at Accountable, and in the first half of 2020 she was an assistant project manager at Novalins Medical Translation. Earlier, at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, she was a communication assistant from September 2017 to November 2019 and assisted at a conference in September 2018.

Willemsen holds a master's degree in multilingual business communication from the University of Antwerp (2020 to 2021) and a master's degree in Germanic languages from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where she also completed her bachelor's degree. During her bachelor's she spent an Erasmus exchange year at the University of Düsseldorf.
