Jan Van den Berghe

Van den Berghe co-founded Biolizard in 2018 alongside Ghent University professors Wim Van Criekinge and Gerben Menschaert. He and Van Criekinge had previously co-launched the Novalis Biotech investment fund, providing both scientific and commercial grounding for Biolizard. The company has grown to 60 employees and posted 249% revenue growth in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Belgium 2025.
