Wim Van Criekinge

Van Criekinge co-founded Biolizard in 2018 with fellow Ghent University computational genomics professor Gerben Menschaert and biotech entrepreneur Jan Van den Berghe. He and Menschaert had previously co-launched the Novalis Biotech investment fund, bringing both scientific and commercial grounding to the venture. Biolizard serves biotech, pharma, and diagnostic companies with biomedical data analysis, machine learning, and software engineering, and has grown to 60 employees.
