Julie Foulon

Julie Foulon took over as Managing Director of BetaGroup from Jean Derely, co-founded MolenGeek, and founded Girleek, making her one of the most active community and inclusion builders in the Brussels tech scene.

Julie Foulon is a French-born entrepreneur who grew up in Africa and has been based in Brussels for over a decade. She served as Managing Director of BetaGroup for three years, growing it to over 8,000 members and organising monthly events drawing over 400 attendees. She took leadership from founder Jean Derely. In 2016 she co-founded MolenGeek with Ibrahim Ouassari, a citizen-led tech ecosystem in Molenbeek focused on diversity and inclusion. She is also the founder of Girleek, a platform for digital skills acquisition aimed at women. She has also served as Community Manager at Start it @KBC Brussels.
