
Kevin Braeckmans
Kevin Braeckmans is a Full Professor at Ghent University and co-founded Trince with Stefaan Desmedt and Philip Mathuis. Trince is a Ghent University spin-off developing the LumiPore transfection platform, which uses laser exposure and photothermal nanoparticles to deliver molecules into cells. The company raised EUR 4M in a seed round from QBIC and Novalis Biotech in 2021.
