Lars Grieten

Lars Grieten is CEO and co-founder of fibricheck, based in Hasselt. He has held the position of CEO and co-founder at Qompium since December 2016.

Before that, he worked at imec as a senior researcher in wearable health solutions from July 2013 to February 2017, and at ZOL as project coordinator of the Limburg Clinical Research Program from January 2012 to January 2017. Between January 2015 and January 2017 he was a visiting professor in the Mobile Health Unit at Hasselt University.

Grieten began his research career as a PhD student at IMO-IMOMEC-Hasselt University from 2007 to December 2011. He studied biomedical sciences at Hasselt University, completing an MSc in 2007.
