Lars Veelaert

Veelaert is a former Cybersecurity advisor who co-founded XFA in September 2021 with Gijs Van Laer. The company is based in Antwerp and closed a EUR 1.5M seed round in December 2025, led by ScaleFund and Curiosity, with participation from PMV and Seeder Fund.

As CEO of XFA, Veelaert leads commercial and product direction on a device-security product for unmanaged personal, freelancer, and BYOD devices that fall outside classic MDM deployments. The product enforces Zero Trust device posture without invasive controls on personal hardware.
