Lieze Geebelen

Lieze Geebelen is the owner of Proactify, a company she founded in January 2017, and is based in Hasselt. Before that, she was business unit manager at Proventas from November 2013 to December 2016.

Since September 2022 she has been a guest professor in B2B sales at Hogeschool PXL, where she also taught personal branding in the autumn of 2023. She has been a business coach and jury member for the KMO Challenge and KMO Excellence programmes at Vlerick Business School since September 2015, and was a guest lecturer at UC Leuven-Limburg between 2019 and 2023.

Her work with Vlaamse Jonge Ondernemingen vzw (Vlajo) includes Ondernemer voor de Klas since December 2018, coaching for the Start Academy and jury duties for the Limburg provincial finals for small business projects, latterly as jury chair. She has been a trainer at Junior Consulting vzw since August 2022 and an ambassador for [h]ARS since March 2022.

Geebelen sits on the board of OGH - Ondernemingsgroep Hasselt and has served as a judge in social matters at the arbeidsrechtbank Antwerpen since December 2022. She chaired the Ondernemersraad Alken from 2021 to 2022 and was a board member of Jong Voka. Since September 2023 she has been running ‘t Goei Leven, the renovation of a historic timber-framed farm.

She studied financial management at Vlerick Business School and communication at Hogeschool PXL.
