Nick Koopmans

Nick Koopmans is the founder and chief executive of Pixelvision, which he started in April 2015 and runs from Hasselt. Between 2017 and August 2023 he also worked as a freelance data protection officer for the same company.

Before founding Pixelvision he spent time at VB Beton, where he was production manager at VB Beton GmbH from March to September 2013, supply chain manager from May to October 2014, and team leader of internal sales from December 2014 to June 2015. Earlier, from August 2011 to April 2012, he was a staff member at KBC Bank & Verzekering.

He studied at the Heilig Graf Instituut Bilzen and then at Hasselt University, where he completed a bachelor in applied economic sciences between 2007 and 2011 and a Master of Science in applied economic sciences, innovation and entrepreneurship in 2010 and 2011, with a year of economics at the Università di Siena in 2009 and 2010. He gives his areas of expertise as negotiation, team leadership and analytical thinking.
