Peter Nijs
Peter Nijs is a co-founder of Engilico - 100% SEAL INSPECTION for the best packaging results, a role he has held since February 2011. He is based in Gent. Since July 2009 he has also been the owner of Kanalima consultancy, and between November 2009 and August 2011 he worked as a project manager at SD Worx.
Nijs spent much of his earlier career at Metris, which he joined in July 1998 as a software developer and where he went on to hold the roles of team lead, software development manager and director of software engineering, remaining until June 2009. Before that, from 1996 to 1998, he was a software engineer at Materialise.
He studied mechanical engineering at KU Leuven, graduating with a Master of Science in 1996, and completed an Executive MBA at Vlerick Business School between 2010 and 2012.
