Pieter Willekens

Pieter Willekens is a product owner at nexuzhealth, based in Hasselt. He took up that role in April 2026, having joined the company in March 2024 as an EPD consultant.

Before nexuzhealth, he was a clinical research associate at ECSOR sa/nv from January 2023 to March 2024. From September 2018 to January 2023 he was a consultant in pharma services at Pauwels Consulting. During that period he held several roles in the pharmaceutical sector: quality assurance compliance officer at Sanofi from September 2018 to March 2021, then quality assurance complaint officer for BeLux at the same company until January 2022, followed by a year at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a JGVCC EMEA compliance and analytics associate.

He studied pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Antwerp, completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 2015 and a master's in drug development in 2017, and went on to a master's in management at KU Leuven in 2018.
