Sebastiaan Laloo

Sebastiaan Laloo is Chief Operating Officer at pionira, a role he took up in June 2025. He is based in Ostend. He joined PIONIRA in March 2024, working on key accounts and projects until August 2025.

Before that he was an SAP project analyst at IVECO CAPITAL from January 2022 to November 2024, and held a similar SAP project analyst role at CNH Industrial between March 2021 and June 2022. From September 2019 to December 2021 he was a finance consultant at AUSY.

Laloo spent six years at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Ghent University as a research and teaching assistant, from October 2013 to September 2019. Earlier he interned at Vlerick Business School in 2011 and at Transport Maenhout NV in freight forwarding in 2009.

He holds a PhD in business and managerial economics from Ghent University, awarded in 2019, and an MSc in economics from the same institution. He also completed an MSc in finance and risk management and a bachelor's degree in applied business at HOGENT.
