Stan De Vocht
Stan De Vocht is the founder and CEO of Creative Shelter, based in Ghent. He founded the company in August 2013 and has led it since.
He worked at iMinds as manager of IP and technology transfer from May 2013 to February 2018, and at imec, where he was innovation manager from October 2016 to January 2018 and then venture development manager until January 2019. From January 2011 to July 2013 he worked as an intellectual property consultant under his own name, Stanislas De Vocht - Consulting, and he was a professional support lawyer for IP/IT at Allen & Overy from January 2011 to May 2013. He was legal counsel at Universiteit Gent from March 2007 to January 2011, and before that a lawyer at the Ghent bar with Van Poucke, De Meyer & Mertens from 2005 to 2007.
De Vocht studied law at Ghent University from 2000 to 2005, took a Master of Laws in intellectual property at the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel from 2006 to 2008, and followed the management cycle in technology transfer at Vlerick Business School from 2007 to 2008.
