Stefan Gevaert
Stefan Gevaert is the CTO and a co-founder of pionira, a company he co-founded in February 2015. He is based in Gent.
Between February 2011 and February 2014 he worked as a .NET security consultant at Digitaal Vlaanderen. He was a principal consultant at U2U Consult from July 2009 to January 2015, having earlier been a .NET consultant at U2U from May 2006 to December 2008. At Euroclear he was a .NET consultant from March 2007 to December 2008 and then a manager from January to July 2009. From May 2006 to March 2007 he was an ASP.NET consultant at LUON.
He began his career at Corilus, where he was R&D coordinator for ophthalmology from March 1996 to May 2006.
Gevaert studied engineering at HOGENT from 1987 to 1992, obtaining a master's degree, and attended Atheneum Zelzate from 1984 to 1986.
