Ward van der Tempel
Ward van der Tempel (PhD) co-founded VoxelSensors in March 2020 with Johannes Peeters. The company developed the patented Switching Pixels Active Event Sensor (SPAES) technology, achieving less than 10 milliwatts power consumption and less than 5 milliseconds latency, enabling outdoor 3D perception at over 5 meters range. The company raised EUR 5M in seed funding led by Capricorn Partners and QBIC in 2023.
