Wouter Uten

Wouter Uten is a co-founder of secury360 and has served as its chairman since January 2024. He is based in Hasselt.

Since March 2024 he has been chairman of Govaerts Recycling NV - Govaplast. In November 2023 he became founding and managing partner of C4Growth, and in the same month took up a role as advisor and shareholder at Orphamed BV. He has owned Utec Comm. V. since October 2012.

Uten founded UgenTec in July 2013 and held that founder role until January 2024. He was chief executive officer of the company from April 2015 to March 2018, then chief operations officer from January 2018 to January 2023.

He studied electronics and electricity at Don Bosco ti Helchteren from 2006 to 2010 and completed a professional bachelor in ICT, electronics-ICT, at KHLim between 2010 and 2013. He also took courses at CVO Heusden-Zolder, CCNA in evening school from 2011 to 2013 and basic Drupal skills from 2013 to 2014.
