Xavier Gobert
Xavier Gobert is based in Namur, where he is the founder of mydata-trust-data-protection-and-privacy-for-life-sciences. He has been the founder and managing director of Cemaka since October 2003 and has taught at the Ecole Supérieur des Affaires in Namur since October 1995. In August 2022 he joined Eribel as CPQ project manager and designer, and in April 2026 he took up the role of chief information officer at Haerens Group.
Between February 2016 and December 2021 he headed internal platform development and EPM at TOMRA Food, having previously been IT infrastructure manager at DKV Belgium. He worked at Shurgard Europe as a project manager from 2002 to 2009 and at SHURGARD Self-Storage Europe as a senior project manager from 2010 to 2014, and spent 2009 to 2010 at Euroclear as a CMMI - COBIT specialist. Earlier roles were at Axen, GTS Europe/Ebone/KPN Qwest, SWIFT and FUNDP, where he was an assistant-researcher in telecommunications.
He holds a master's degree in computer sciences from the Université de Namur.
