- Knock knock. Innovation knows no limits, so we now have a robot that checks whether meeting rooms are occupied. 😉 Say hi to our newest team member, Fifi. We’re treating the name as a gentle suggestion from Pieter-Paulus himself. On Slack, the debate is still very much alive. Better name ideas are welcome in the comments. 🙃
- AI that copies itself from device to device, without a datacenter, running on €55 TV boxes and smart ovens. That is what is already possible today! Anthropic published research yesterday showing it can already be done in a test setup. They ran a model across 15 off-brand Android TV boxes, and it was really slow, but it worked. In another test, a model worked its way from one device to the next on its own until it had all of them. They are careful to call it “signs of life” and not a real threat yet. The setup was simplified

- Thirty minutes and a thousand chairs, and a bit nervous. This morning I walked onto the stage at Future Product Days in Copenhagen to talk about what happens when hardware and software finally understand each other. The room laughed in the right places, leaned in at the right moment, and came up to me afterwards with their own stories. That is all I wanted. The whole Aaltra team was here for two days and I was very proud to point at them in the audience.
