- When a new regulation is published, someone responsible for #government buildings has to work out whether it applies to their sites, and what needs to happen by when. That means reading dense legal text, checking it against a whole portfolio of buildings and turning it into concrete maintenance work. It is slow, and a missed deadline usually only shows up when it’s already a problem. At the Digitaal Vlaanderen hackathon during #Trefdag26, Arinti, Leap Forward and Het Facilitair Bedrijf - Vlaamse overheid built the Regelspotter to
- Sven Roegiers started his career as a consultant at De Cronos Groep in 2015. In 2024 he got involved with Arinti, since September 2025 he has been fully dedicated to it, and in March 2026 he led the rebranding. Today he’s our Managing Partner. Claude is part of almost everything he does, from proposals and code to analysis. He even built his own set of MCP servers around it, with Notion running as the operating system of Arinti. The problem he’d most like to solve sits between “we have data” and “we know what to do with it”.
- Yesterday at #Trefdag26, the Regelspotter won the golden plaque in the Digitaal Vlaanderen hackathon, and we’re thrilled. 🥇 🥇 🥇 Thank you to everyone who came by at 3 pm and voted. The audience vote ended with a clear first place for our team, and judging by the reactions in the room, the idea really landed. - The Regelspotter won the Vlaanderen Hackathon 2026! Together with the AI experts at Arinti and Het Facilitair Bedrijf - Vlaamse overheid, we formed team De Wetswijzers. Today at #Trefdag26, we won over the audience and brought home the golden plaque. The Regelspotter reads new regulations and finds out which government buildings they affect. Building managers then get an overview of the maintenance actions and deadlines that follow. For complex legal texts, a person still makes the call. Local governments could use it for their own

- De winnaar van de Vlaanderen Hackathon 2026 is bekend: De Wetswijzers! Met de Regelspotter overtuigde het team vandaag het publiek op de Trefdag Vlaanderen Digitaal. De Regelspotter leest nieuwe regelgeving uit en zoekt uit welke overheidsgebouwen erdoor geraakt worden. Gebouwbeheerders krijgen zo een overzicht van de nodige onderhoudsacties en deadlines. Bij complexe wetteksten blijft een menselijke beoordeling nodig. Ook lokale besturen zouden het systeem voor hun gebouwen kunnen gebruiken.
