Overview
Aucxis is a Belgian automation company based at Zavelstraat 40 in Stekene, in the Kleine Zavel industrial zone. It runs two business units, RFID Solutions and E-Trade Systems. The e-trade unit builds electronic sales and auction systems for fruit, vegetables, fish, flowers, coffee, livestock and wool. Its cloud platform KOSMOS runs in a browser without local installation and covers supply, sale and after-sale. Installations include Veiling Zaltbommel in the Netherlands, the Nairobi Coffee Exchange in Kenya, Brixham Trawler Fish Market and W. Stevenson & Sons in England, Shetland Seafood Auction and Scrabster in Scotland, and Dounan Flowers E-Trade Center in China. The RFID unit started in 2007 and by 2022 accounted for around half of revenue. It supplies passive tags and readers, NFC, POLARIS asset management software and POLARIS handhelds for warehousing and logistics, pooling and rental, manufacturing and assembly, and healthcare and pharma. Named references include AZ Sint-Maarten, Vitaz, theo, Kemira, Luik Natie, Aertssen Logistics, Roldo Rent and Royal Antwerp FC. In 2015 it had 47 employees and revenue just over 6 million euros, about 74 percent from exports to close to 60 countries. Revenue passed 7 million euros in 2019. Geert Vonck is CEO.
