- Phase 2 of DARYA SCAFFOLD is done. And looking back at what this community has built over the past year, it is hard not to feel proud. 👏 Five national Training of Trainers sessions across Central Asia. 313 trainers trained. 110 practitioners recognised through the open badge portfolio. A regional CPD event in Almaty that brought together specialists from all five countries and led to 14 CPD programme designs. A two-day online Forum with 229 participants. Ten in-person events with 692 people in the room, alongside over 1,600
- Soil gives us food, clean water and healthy ecosystems. But it rarely gets the attention it deserves. SoilSparks is trying to change that, not by talking at young people, but asking them to lead. The project has just finished the first stage, and we are excited to share the latest updates with you. During the summer, thirty young people from 23 countries joined the project, all coming from very different backgrounds. In June and July they completed and online summer school on soil. Then they spent five days together at Parc naturel
- Thirty young people. Fifteen countries. Five days in Reims getting their hands literally in the soil. Last month, Bantani Education held SoilSparks co-creation camp in partnership with EUROPARC Federation - and the young people who came did not just learn about soil. They started building the campaign. As participant Alberto Madrassi put it: "The work doesn't stop here." He is right. What comes next is bigger - a pan-European campaign designed by young people, for young people, launching later this year. More to come!🌱
