It is not sufficient. What happens if confidence in an algorithm, implementation, certificate chain or supplier changes before the planned migration date? - RETENTION IS NOT THE CONFIDENTIALITY HORIZON.How long an organisation keeps information is one question. How long disclosure of that information would cause harm is another. Those dates may differ. A record might be retained for an obligation after its commercial sensitivity has faded.
